And yet nothing has changed.
You’re capable and organised and you can do hard things in life - but this - your daughter's anxiety, this still keeps you up at night in a way that nothing else does.
The worry you hold is heavy.
And no one holds the fear of her future like you do.
The fastest path to a less anxious daughter, actually runs directly through you, her Mother.
Not because you're the problem. But because you're the answer.
You don't need to keep doing the same things you’ve already tried with more effort.
You need a completely different lens.
You need to be shown how to be the answer she needs.
What everyone else tells you to do:
Send her to therapy. Try gentle exposure. Use this script. Make a worry jar. Challenge her thoughts.
And it helps a little. But then it plateaus.
Because none of it addresses what's actually generating the alarm in the first place.
And none of it comes from a family centred approach.
And none of it honours the somatic piece in a way that works for children.
It comes from the idea that her and her thoughts are the problem.
So she continues to panic about small things, to be a perfectionist about every school test and to fall apart over what seems small to you.
And while you didn’t cause the alarm inside of her, I can show you how to be the safety that can soothe it.
What we do instead:
Over four weeks, I am going to blend developmental science with unconscious somatic practices and mindset work to show you how to lead your daughter through this season.
I will show you how to respond, I will show you what actually matters and I will give you specific answers that relate to young girls.
I will not make her the problem and I will not make you the problem - I will show you what it means to approach this from a family centred lens.
And when you lead from that place, her nervous system will follow.
You don't need to do more. You need to understand what works specifically for families with anxious girls.
Week One — The Relational Piece
You will understand the developmental and attachment roots of your daughter's anxiety.
You will define your role as her relational leader and what she needs from you that no therapist can provide.
I will share 3 powerful analogies that show you exactly when to push and when to allow her to rest.
Week Two — The Somatic Piece
You will learn a breath work practice that clears the unconscious blocks that get in the way of creating the family culture that allows her to heal. My very own breath work teacher will be available through the whole program to support you to refine your very own practice and help you clear what arises.
You will learn somatic practices for her that get her out of her head and into her body. These are designed specifically for girls aged 5–9 years.
Week Three — The Mindset Piece
I will help you see why mindset work for kids doesn’t work and how to use your family culture to become the portal through which it does become effective.
I will show you how to shift the stories you carry about this challenge, her anxiety and your future.
These will come through simple practices that embed new thinking into everyday family life, without her knowing it's happening.
Week Four — The Integration Piece
We will pull the relational, somatic and mindset threads into one coherent picture.
We will identify what's shifted and what still needs attention in your specific family so you have a clear plan going forward so the work doesn't stop when the program does.
Live Calls
The live calls will be Monday evenings 730pm Brisbane time on April 27th, May 4th, May 11th and May 18th.
The replays will be available and the forum will be accessible for questions, if you can’t join in on the live calls.
