The five-week framework for mothers of anxious girls aged between 5 and 10 years old

But she is still anxious. Still having nightmares. Still afraid of everyone getting sick. Still scared of vomiting. Still scared of animals and still worrying about every friendship issue that ever occurred.

And not because you're the problem. It's not a failure of effort. You're a high-achieving, capable mother who is able to solve every other problem that comes your way.

It's a failure of direction. You've been aiming at the right problem from the wrong angle.

You've been aiming at her symptoms — the fears, the worries, the concerns. Instead, I want to show you how to shift the family culture those symptoms are responding to.

The fastest path to a less anxious daughter, actually runs directly through you, her Mother.

What we do instead:

Over five weeks, I am going to blend developmental science with unconscious somatic practices and mindset work to show you how to lead your daughter through this season.

I will give you the tools first, to practice on yourself, and then I will give you the child version, the part that she needs.

It all comes through you.

And that holistic approach is what creates real change.

You need to understand what works specifically for families with anxious girls.

Week One — What is Anxiety

  • You will understand the developmental and attachment roots of your daughter's anxiety.

  • You will learn why working with her mind is so limited and why you need the somatic and relational piece too.

Week Two — The Relational Piece

  • You will learn the first of the three pieces of healing - your relationship.

  • You will understand which aspects of this are essential for her safety.

Week Three — The Somatic Piece

  • You will learn a breath work practice that clears the unconscious blocks that get in the way of creating the family culture that allows her to heal. My very own breath work teacher will be available in the forum to support you to refine your very own home practice and this will be key in reaching your family goals.

  • You will also learn somatic practices for her that get her out of her head and into her body. These are designed specifically for girls aged 5–10 years.

Week Four — The Mindset Piece

  • I will help you see why mindset work for kids is limited and how to use your family culture to become the portal through which it does become effective.

  • I will show you how to shift the stories you carry about this challenge, her anxiety and your future.

  • These will come through simple practices that embed new thinking into everyday family life, without her knowing it's happening.

Week Five — When to Push

  • Now that you have the framework, I will spell out when you need to push her and when you need to let her rest.

  • I’ll help you identify red flag behaviours and feel confident in knowing which seasons you can call her forward in.

Personalised Support

  • You will have forum access for 6 weeks where you can ask me any questions that arise through your program.

  • I will be in the forum Mondays to Fridays answering your questions within 48 hours and it’s really me, (a qualified psychologist) not an AI.

  • Michelle will also be in the forum answering any of your breathwork specific questions and helping you dial in your practice.

  • Your daughter is 5–10 years old and anxiety is affecting your family life.

You will have access to a trained breath work practitioner and learn a gentle but powerful practice that clears any unconscious blocks getting in the way of your goals.

Breath Work

You will learn how to help your daughter build frustration tolerance and release tension through play. She won't even know she's doing nervous system work!

Somatic Practices for Her

I will be inside of the private forum guiding you through whatever arises. You will have 6 weeks of access to the forum and Michelle will also be there to answer any breath work specific questions.
