DECODING YOUR CHILD’S BEHAVIOUR

A podcast series hosted by Family Psychologist, Ashleigh Warner that will show you what it looks like to get beneath your child’s anxiety, aggression and challenging behaviour so that you can start to address the root cause and become the leader your child needs.

“Beneath every behaviour there is an emotion. Beneath every emotion there is a need. And when we meet that need rather than focus on the behaviour, we begin to deal with the cause, not the symptom.”

When you understand what’s beneath your child’s behaviour, you not only reduce challenging moments, you become the confident parent they naturally turn to in every difficult season.

Not some script, not some expert, not some trick - YOU.

And that’s what every kid needs in every challenging season.

A confident and attuned parent who becomes their answer.

Meet your host, Ashleigh

As a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, I bring over 13 years of experience to your family's journey. My Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology provides the scientific foundation for the transformative "Beneath the Behaviour" framework I've developed through years of working with families just like yours.

My studies at the Neufeld Institute have given me profound insights into attachment-based developmental science—the key to understanding what's truly driving your child's challenging behaviours. This specialized knowledge forms the cornerstone of my approach, allowing me to see patterns and solutions where others see only problem behaviours.

As a mother of two boys, I live this work daily. The framework I teach isn't just theoretical—it's what I use in my own home when challenges arise, allowing me to bring both professional expertise and lived experience to our work together. I can’t wait to share this with you.

It is possible to feel confident and understand exactly how to support your child even when it’s one of those trickier seasons in life.
